1. HOW MANY FELLOWS WERE MATCHED IN THE 1ST BATCH?

2,183 Fellows (1035 male / 1148 female) will be placed in 616 Organisations across the 36 States and FCT. The contracting processes are being finalized, including onboarding of the host Organisations before the Fellows resume at their place of work.

2. WHERE CAN WE FIND THE NAMES OF THE FELLOWS SELECTED AND MATCHED?

The names of the fellows selected can be found in https://www.njfp.ng/matchedfellows

3. I WAS NOT MATCHED WITH A HOST ORGANIZATION IN MY PREFERRED SECTOR OF INTEREST. CAN I BE REMATCHED?

Please note that the matching process was based on the availability of work placement opportunities across the various sectors/industries. We sympathize If you did not get matched with a host organization in your preferred sector. Considering the limited number of placement opportunities available per sector, we are unable to match every fellow with host organisations in their preferred sectors. 

We are however confident that you will find the placement with the host organization you have been matched with fulfilling as you set out to develop requisite work experience and skills. If you have specific complaints regarding your placement experience or host organisation, please send an email to fellows.support@njfp.ng

I WAS MATCHED WITH A HOST ORGANISATION OUTSIDE OF MY PREFERRED LOCATION / I WAS RECENTLY MATCHED WITH A HOST ORGANIZATION IN MY PREFERRED LOCATION BUT I HAVE RECENTLY RELOCATED TO ANOTHER STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT / I WAS MATCHED WITH A HOST ORGANISATION IN A CONFLICT AREA. CAN I BE REMATCHED WITH A HOST ORGANIZATION IN MY NEW LOCATION?

Please note that while careful consideration was given to match fellows with host organisations in their preferred states as indicated in the application submitted, the location of available placement opportunities and host organisations also played a critical role in the matching process. We understand the difficulty that may be associated with accepting a placement with a host organization outside your preferred location. We will do everything within our power to match you to a host organisation in a more suitable location. Please note that this will largely depend on the available opportunities in the preferred location.

6. WHEN WILL THE SECOND BATCH BE ANNOUNCED? HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE BEEN SELECTED OR MATCHED?

Thank you for being patient with us. As we finalise the onboarding and deployment of the 1st batch, we shall now be focused on matching the second cohort. We anticipate this to take 3-4 weeks. Communication to matched Fellows will be made through the formal email address
