Important Update on The New Naira Notes:-  Wema Bank

The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced that the N200, N500 & N1,000 notes have been redesigned.

Hence, circulation of the new notes will begin December 15, 2022, as the existing notes will cease to be legal tenders by January 31, 2023 and there will be no extension. Until then, you can still make purchases with them. 

To prepare yourself for this transition, kindly deposit existing naira notes into any WEMA Bank branch closest to you.

Please note that.

All deposits are free and at no charge until January 31, 2023.

 Starting November 5, 2022, all our branches will open for Saturday banking from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to receive cash deposits ONLY while all cash withdrawals for those days are limited to ATM & POS terminals.

 ALAT, *945#, and our other alternative channels remain available for all your cashless transactions.
